Baila Baleia is an animated music video created for the song by Pira Caipira, a musical project by Tchuskka and Jef Lyrio dedicated to creating songs for children.
The animation was developed through drawings and collage, following a whale that dances between the sea and the sky. The project began from an unexpected encounter with Tchuskka in 2020 and became an opportunity to explore, for the first time, the creation of a music video.
Since then, animation has taken an increasingly important place in my artistic practice. This work marks one of the first experiences of this journey, bringing together drawing, cut-outs, movement, and music in a simple, playful, and sensitive narrative.
