I created the animation and art direction for a project by Lunetas, a journalism platform dedicated to Brazilian childhoods. An initiative by Instituto Alana, Lunetas produces content about children, education, culture, rights, and society, aiming to broaden perspectives on the diverse experiences of childhood in Brazil.
The project interviewed 40 children from all regions of Brazil to imagine the ideal country where they would like to live and reflect on the transformations needed to build this dream space. Through their answers, desires, and visions for the future, the project highlights the urgent changes identified by children themselves and their ideas for the world they want to help create.
The animation and art direction were developed to visually translate these ideas and perspectives, creating a playful and sensitive visual language to accompany the children’s voices.
