um corpo sem cavalo?

"a body without a horse" a 8 minute short film made as a result of the ReAnima Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Animation. 

Moved by a curiosity on what the body can do and searching for a playful making process, this film emerges from experimentations on the possibilities of the human body in graphic media. I wanted to shorten the distance between filmmaker and audience, so I used paper cutouts and the phone as a common and cheap shooting tool. With a narration that plays with language, it touches on themes like the body’s possibilities, its absences and presences, humorously and deep at the same time, while transitioning across different media. Working with minimal equipment pushed me to embrace improvisation, and I hope this sense of spontaneity remains visible for the audience to enjoy the sense of play and curiosity that shaped the film.
